🌙 About Masjid Ibrahim – Leicester South
Masjid Ibrahim is one of the newly proposed mosques located on the outskirts of South Leicester. Since its humble beginnings in 2018, our parent organisation — Eyres Monsell Community Foundation (EMCF) — was established with a clear mission: to revive and nurture the spirit of Islam within the local community and beyond.
From offering a simple prayer space, we now host over 100 regular attendees for Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers, Alhamdulillah — a significant growth since inception. Over the past 7 years, this initiative has blossomed into a vibrant, spiritually connected community, committed to living the values of Islam.
EMCF is more than a provider of prayer space — it is a foundation for education, unity, and service. With your continued duʿāʾ (دُعَاء) and support, we aim to carry this spirit forward into a fully functioning community masjid that will serve generations to come, Inshā’Allāh (إن شاء الله).

Madrasaah Taleemul Qur’an
(Children Islamic School)
Our aim is to provide a strong and broad education within the context of an Islamic environment. An understanding of Deen in line with Qur’aan & Ahadeeth forms the strong frame hold of the work in Madrasah. Our main objective is to develop an understanding of Islamic knowledge, which leads to students becoming righteous, God fearing and promotes
good morals as well as accountability.
